Nellie Christine Moore Clearman

GARNER- Nellie Christine Moore Clearman, 95, died Sunday. A native of Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Thomas Moore and Annie Mae Hindman Moore. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Hayes Chapel Christian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church following the burial. Survivors include daughters Lois Stephenson (Thomas Ricks) of Clayton, Marie Kadow (Ken) of Micro and Ruth Hineman (Benny) of Raleigh; son Wade Clearman (Carol) of Angier; sisters Betty Pennington, Alice Johnson, Ruby Mitchell, Nancy Stockton and Helen Hayes; brother Luther Moore, all of Alabama; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren 4 great-great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. William Clyde Clearman; her son, Calvin Lloyd Clearman and her sisters, Melba Wheeler and  Jo Graham, as well as 5 grandchildren.
