Nettie Sloan Gardner

ANGIER-Nettie Sloan Gardner, 95, of 1377 James Norris Road, passed away on Monday at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital. A native of Harnett County she was the daughter of the late Garland Sloan and Blanche Lett Sloan. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 18, at 2:00 PM at Angier Fellowship Church with burial to follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Gardner is survived by her daughter, Barbara Gardner Davis, son, R. Wayne Gardner and wife, Linda, all of Angier; sister, Evelyn S. Thomas and brother, Carlie Sloan, both of Broadway; grandchildren, Adam Gardner and wife, Melanie of Angier, April Honeycutt and husband Arvin of Angier and Bryan Davis, great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jared and Seth Gardner, Brittany Eubanks and Breanna Davis. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gardner was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Reuben Gardner, granddaughter, Pamela Gardner, brothers, John, Fred and Frank Sloan. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 P. M. at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
