Nicholas Cameron Margiolas

May 16, 1999 — January 22, 2019

WILLOW SPRING – Nicholas Cameron Margiolas was born on May 16, 1999 in Framingham, MA to Jill and Robert Margiolas. Nick walked into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on January 22, 2019 at the age of 19. Nick was preceded in death by his father, Robert Margiolas, his paternal grandparents, George and Florence Margiolas. Nick is survived by his mother, Jill Margiolas and Jimmy Coats (significant other), his brother, Hunter Schofield, his sister, Andrea Margiolas (of MA), his maternal grandparents, Hellen Caladino and James Lundy (Jennifer Lundy) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Many may not have known that Nick struggled with depression. He tried many ways to ease his pain and ultimately the drugs he turned to escape his pain took his life. Im his Mom – To those involved in introducing Nick to drugs and who sold or assisted in getting the drugs, its not too late for you. Stop now or at the very least, dont contribute to another young person’s senseless and devastating death. Many people loved my son, but I loved him more than my next breath. A piece of my soul went with him and you should know I will never recover from this loss, this darkness, this despair. He will never be defined by his drug use, there was so much more to my beautiful boy. Nick was such a beautiful person inside and out. He loved so many things in life. He spent his life playing sports. He started in Soccer at age 4. He loved the game. He spent many years goalkeeping for the Storm soccer team and spent his high school years goalkeeping at West Johnston High. He loved basketball and played on several teams. He enjoyed fishing and skateboarding with his friends. His laughter – such a sweet sound and so very contagious. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. He loved his dogs, Lucy and Widdle Dog. They were there for him always and they miss him. He loved good food and was always there to polish off the leftovers and would thank you over and over for a good meal. He enjoyed chillin’, watching movies, and listening to music. He was fresh, stylish, loved shoes, and had the best hair ever! He was an avid New England Patriots fan and I thank God I was lucky enough to watch last Sundays game with my boy. He was sweet, kind, funny, warm, respectful, laid back, and a good, loyal friend who loved his family deeply. He wanted to live. He should be here. I should not be writing an obituary for my son, which could never capture his essence if I wrote a million words. He was one of a kind and will be missed by so many. Rest in peace my beautiful son. Addiction does not discriminate. Chances are, you know someone struggling with addiction and that person deserves your empathy and support. Reach out and offer help, it could make a difference.
