Norma Mercedes Edwards

Norma Mercedes Diaz Edwards, 83, passed away on Saturday. A native of Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Olimpio Diaz Pereria and Rosa Elvira Cancel Diaz. She is survived by her daughters Debbie Sterner and husband Gordon of Forest MS, Cheryl Herder and husband, Bill of Acworth, GA; son Thomas Edwards and wife Rodalie of Angier; sisters, Aida Baumanis of Houston, TX; Angie Bruno of San Juan, P.R.; grandchildren, Michael Herder, Brandon Herder, Brian Sterner, Kevin Sterner, great-grandchildren, Montana Sterner and Kadin Sterner, numerous nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, purchase a plant in her memory so she will be with you.
