Norman S. Utley

Norman S. Utley, 86, passed away suddenly at home Tuesday Jan. 17, 2017. Norman worked in the Heating and Air business for many years. Norman and his late wife Hilda were faithful members of Aversboro Road Baptist Church and former members of Turner Memorial Baptist Church for many years.  He was a man of faith that loved his family deeply. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Friday Jan. 20, 2017 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Along with his parents, Charlie and Virginia Utley, Norman was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years Hilda Utley and two sisters Virginia Chidester and Betty Utley. Norman is survived by his daughter, Robin Rudder and husband Charles; son, Dale Utley and wife Peggy; sister, Peggy Williams and two grandchildren, Kevin and Kaitlyn Utley. The family will receive friends at Bryan Lee Funeral Home in Garner on Thursday Jan. 19, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
