Norvell Denning

Norvell Denning, 75, passed away April 1, 2015.  Norvell was a native of Sampson, Co and the son of the late Rudolph and Thelma Denning. Norvell worked for Jesse Jones selling processed foods. Norvell was a route salesman , selling Jesse Jones products for 32 years. He spent another 8 years working for Star Foods. After retirement he spent several years working for Tri-Venture in Lakeland, Fl. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter; Vicki Denning Jones and a brother, Elwood Denning. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday April 4, 2015 at Highland Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of 55 years; Rebecca Howell Denning; sons, Allen Denning (Ann), Scott Denning (Lesa); granddaughter, Ashley Denning Dunn (Wayne) and grandsons, Tad, Connor and Ryan Denning. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to either Transitions LifeCare 250 Hospice Cr.
