Page Gough, Jr.

Page Gough, Jr. 97 passed away on Wed. Nov. 4, 2020 at home. He was born in Saint Albans, WV on October 2, 1923. He lived, attended school and worked in Huntington, WV from 1930 – 1953. He entered Marshall University in 1941 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1947. Three years of this period were spent in the Army Air Force. Page was an aerial navigator and reached the Rank of First Lieutenant. He flew 47 missions in the CBI Theater and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross with two Oak Clusters and the Air Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster. Page worked 22 years with Allied Chemical Corporation (Now Honeywell) in Ky., N.Y., Michigan and Texas. An additional 22 years was spent in the employment of Parkson Corporation in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. He married (the late) Lori Peterson Gough in 1960. He is survived by a daughter; Gail Gough Colon and husband Mario; and sons, James David Gough and wife Lesley, of Gainesville, Fl., Jeffrey John Gough and wife Evelyn of Olmsted Township, Ohio, and Arthur Page Gough, III (retired Air Force) and wife Debbie of Williamsburg, Va. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. There will be no formal service, Page will be cremated and the family will have a Memorial Service at his daughters home at 12 Noon Monday Nov. 9, 2020 at 1601 Bracknell Ct.
