Pansy Burnette Creech

Raleigh-Pansy Burnette Creech, 89, passed away at her home in Raleigh, North Carolina on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. She was born in Nash County and was the daughter of the late David and Nanny Vick Burnette. Pansy was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to many. She is survived by two daughters, Connie Barker and husband Otha of Raleigh and Vickie McDuff and husband Don of Garner; one son, Greg Creech and wife Janet of Garner; two grandchildren, Tyler Barker and wife Lauren of Raleigh and Gabriel Porter of Raleigh; a great-grandson, Ford Barker; a sister-in-law, Clare Jean Burnette; three nieces, Ella Faye Cone, Ann Daniels, and Joan Pitts; and a nephew Michael Cone; and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Creech; two brothers, J.D. Burnette, Harvey Burnette and a sister, Virginia Farr. She loved shopping, cooking big meals for her family, and Christmas. No matter where she was going, whether it be to the mailbox, the grocery store or out to a nice dinner, she was dressed to the nines with her hair and makeup done! The family wishes to express our eternal gratitude and love to Editha (Edie) Adams, Pansy’s caregiver and friend who is like family to all of us.
