Patricia Allison Pleasant

ANGIER – Patricia Pleasant, 59, passed away on Tuesday. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late William Lee and Nancy Cox Lee. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Mickey Pleasant.

Personal statement from Mr. Pleasant:

There will be no services for Patricia. Her wishes were very adamant throughout our years together, if her time came before mine to please ask everyone to send donations to Shriner's Children's Hospital and/or to ASPCA where it’s needed so badly for the suffering children, and also for the neglected, abused, and abandoned animals that have no voice or way of providing for their own needs. Donations to one or the other charity's will put a big smile on her face. Anything, no matter how small or large this would make her very happy. Next, she asked of me to have her remains cremated and to carry her ashes down to the beach and scatter them there at the place where her daddy carried her surf fishing so many times in the past. She spoke fondly of this countless times over the years, every time she told these stories they never grew old to me because I always enjoyed hearing the happiness in her voice and the excited look on her face as though she was a kid again. Patricia had so many fine qualities about her but always thinking of others was one of her best and it shows even in her death. God bless her. Me, Samantha, Ping-Ping, and Keybo love you and miss you with all our hearts. Goodbye Best Friend -until we meet again.
