HOLLY SPRINGS – Patricia Ann Thomas Blakeman, 80, passed away at her home on Sunday surrounded by many of her family and close friends. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Lavern Thomas and Beulah Everett Crouch Thomas.
Patricia is survived by her brothers; Michael C. Thomas of Arizona, and John M. Thomas (Trudy) of Fuquay-Varina, grandsons; Christopher Andrew Koliadko (Vanessa) of Holly Springs, NC, Shawn Alan Koliadko (Kristin) of Louisburg, NC, Larry Dale Blakeman III (Destany) of Denver, CO, Adam Kyle Koliadko of Fuquay-Varina, NC, her seven great-grandchildren, five nephews, one niece, and a very special friend who she had considered a daughter, Dolores Longoria (Ruben) of Fuquay-Varina, NC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry Dale Blakeman Jr., her brother, Gilbert Clark Thomas, daughter, Cassandra Rene Blakeman Koliadko, and her husband, Larry Dale Blakeman Sr.
Patricia, or ‘Memom’ as her friends and family knew her, made a career in inventory management and traveled the country throughout her life with her husband close by. She later settled in North Carolina and was known for her unending kindness and warmth. She was willing to house those close to her when they were down on their luck and was generous in helping anyone in whatever way she could.
Her family will receive family and friends for her Celebration of Life at 2pm on November 11th, 2023, at 7328 Cass Holt Rd. Holly Springs, NC 27540.
