GARNER – Patricia Ann Jackson, 74, passed away Monday. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 12:30 pm at Highland Baptist Church, Raleigh. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Patricia was born in Sampson County to the late William and Azlee Harris Steedly. She graduated from Hoblen High School in 1961 and went on to complete lab school by 1966. In 1975 she graduated with her nursing degree from Wake Technical Comm. College. Patricia faithfully served her patients, eventually retiring as a night supervisor on the surgical floor at Dorthea Dix. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by a son, Ashley Ray Jackson; 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Raeford Jackson; daughter, Sarah Jackson Buffaloe and husband, Allen of Raleigh; son, Billy Jackson and wife, Kim of Garner; grandchildren, Nikki (Josh), Ryan (Mandy), Ashlyn, A.J.; great grandchildren, Noah, Lily, Grace, and one on the way; 1 sister; 2 brothers; and a host of extended family and friends.
