Patricia Bobb of Triumph, East Coast Demerara left this world on November 18, 2023, to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
She was born on August 20, 1949, in Unity Village to John and Soorsattie Bethune. She moved to Georgetown and lived in New Market Street for a few years before marrying her husband Lenox in October 1972. She lived her life in Triumph on the East Coast of Demerara. She was a pastor at the Living Water Assembly which brought incredible joy and happiness to her. She was a wonderful wife who enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and aunt. One of her favorite lines was “I’ll pray for you.” She was very protective of her sons and always had their best interest at heart and truly believed in a Mother’s prayers for her children. A top priority of her when Sean was in his teens was to ensure his meal was prepared on time or there were dire consequences ! She still remembered many of the names of childhood friends of her sons who were constantly at her home during their teenage years. She especially remembered the night when Mike and his friend rode a bike into the trench at Dr. Miller Street!
She brought a calming presence to everyone she came across and was a source of inspiration to many.
She was the wife of Lenox Bobb, mother of Michael and Sean. She was the mother-in law of Sharda and Jenny and grandmother to Shane, Alyssa, Kayla, Sophia and Scott. She was the sister of the late Eric, Tony, Harold and Adam. Sister of Rudy, Rita,Dorothy, Stella, Agnes, Andromeda, Cedric, Mary and Rashme.
She was a beloved friend of Sister Lynette and Estelyn Ramsarran, close neighbor of the Singhs, Craigs, Barrows and Lalls of Triumph.
