Patricia Johnson Mcgill

Troy, Ohio - Patricia J. McGill, 77, of Troy, OH went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at her home with family present. She worked with the State of NC for 30 years in Information Systems and retired from the State Government in 1998. Pat, as her friends and family called her, enjoyed being with her family more than anything and looked forward to the holidays especially. She loved and lived for her family. Pat was a member at Benson Grove Baptist Church, something she was especially proud of, and even after moving to Ohio, spoke often of the church and enjoyed seeing videos of services. Pat was preceded in death by her mother Sarah Johnson, by her father Henry Johnson, and brothers Charles Johnson and Cecil Johnson. Also, preceded were her first husband Larry W. Stephenson of Fuquay-Varina, NC and her recent husband John McGill of Angier, NC. She is survived by her fiancé Gary Lawson of Troy, Ohio. A son Larry Anthony Stephenson and wife Shawna Kaye Stephenson of Troy, Ohio, daughter Angela Stephenson Woodcock and husband Marshall R. Woodcock of Bedford, VA, step children David McGill, Wendy McGill and the late Tony McGill of VA; sisters Doris Newton, Lee Langdon and husband Bobby, Janie Butler and husband Emil Butler; grandchildren Alexander W. Stephenson of Charlotte, NC, Nicholas E. Stephenson of Washington, DC, Amber Catherine Woodcock of VA, Noelle Elizabeth Woodcock of VA, Erik A. Moreno of Charlotte, NC and Krystin Kaye Moreno of Atlanta, GA; great-grandchildren Micah Anderson, Zaiden Parks, and Julian Parks. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Benson Grove Baptist Church, 6966 Hwy 50 N Benson, NC 27504. Preacher Billy Cashwell presiding. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1621 Hwy 55, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. The family will receive friends and family from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier, NC.
