Patricia Nance Harris

GARNER - Patricia N. Harris, 61 passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Patricia taught Elementary school for more than 30 years. Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Her brother Pastor James Griffin will be officiating.She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Nance, her birth parents James and Letchie Griffin and a sister, Wanda Horton. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Malvia Mel Harris, Jr.; daughter, Megan E. Harris; son, Jason L. Harris and fianc Kipling Garner; sisters, Elaine Zirkle and husband Al, Janet K. Werner, Diane Graham and husband Steven and Ruth Bunny Griffin and husband Tommy; brothers, John Nance Jr. and wife Susan, James Jerry Griffin and wife Brenda, James Raymond Griffin and wife Marilyn and Glenn R. Griffin and wife Eileen, and her dog Boo Boo. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, other times at the home at 36 Knob Creek Way, Garner.
