Patricia "Pat" Byrd Barbour

CLAYTON – Patricia “Pat” Ann Byrd Barbour, 81, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong resident of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Willa Dean Benson Byrd.


She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Larry Barbour; son, Jason Barbour and wife Deanna; grandchildren, Shepard Barbour and wife Amber, Jaxon Barbour and Ede Barbour; great-grandchildren Levi and Avery; special niece, Yvette Davis and husband Anthony and great nephews, Christian Davis and wife Athena, Colby Davis and wife Shalyn, and Kyle Davis and wife Rachel.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving son, James Barbour, brother Kenneth Byrd and sister, Willa Mae Sorrell.


A memorial service will be held Monday, November 11, 2024 at 2:00pm at Oakland Presbyterian Church, 8927 Cleveland Road, Clayton, NC 27520. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service Monday afternoon at Oakland Presbyterian Church.
