Patricia "Patsy" Brown

ANGIER – Patricia “Patsy” Ann Pollard Rowland Brown, 74, passed away peacefully at home on January 18, 2022. Patsy had several years of declining health and was a fighter until the end. She is the daughter of the late Troy and Lucille Pollard. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 25th at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. The burial will follow at Willow Spring Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 24th from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Patsy was married to Herbert “Red” Brown for over 13 years. The memories they made over the years with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the best. Patsy owned Middle Creek Grocery for over 20 years. She also worked at Belk’s in Fuquay until she retired. Patsy is survived by her loving husband, Red Brown of Angier; daughters, Beverly Rowland, and Jennifer Rowland Tart; grandchildren, Anna Bowling and husband, Chris, Colby Tart, Keelan Tart, Jonathan Brown, Rachel Oglesby, Kindal Stone and husband, Joel; great-grandchildren, Tucker Bowling, Brantley Bowling, Preston Stone, Sadie Stone; sister, Virginia “Tenny” Gregory and husband, Mickey; brothers, Billy Pollard and wife, Nancy, Ricky Pollard and wife, Debra. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Rowland; brothers, Kenneth Pollard and Raymond Pollard; and grandson, Grayson Tart. Patsy enjoyed flowers, plants, shopping, especially at Belk, but mostly spending time with her family. Many wonderful memories were made at Kennels Beach watching the sunsets and talking with friends. The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, food, and visits over the last few months. She will be forever missed.
