Patricia (Patsy) Williams Hamrick

Patricia (Patsy) Williams Hamrick, 81, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at her home October 2, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, N.I. and Elizabeth Williams.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, David; sons, Heath (Tammy) and Jason (Kerry); six grandchildren, Megan Holton (Jeremy), Madison Hernandez (David), Savannah, CC, Booth and Katie; and great grandchildren, Jacelynn and Zander.

Patsy was an elementary school and kindergarten teacher in her early career and later worked at Durham Life Insurance Company and then the Garner Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed crafts like knitting, cross stitch and crocheting, shopping, antiquing and collecting thrift items. She also enjoyed the beach, shag dancing and music. But, most of all loved her family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm, Monday, October 16 at Aversboro Road Baptist Church in Garner, NC. The family will receive friends at the Church beginning at twelve noon. Interment to follow at Montlawn Cemetery.
