Patrick Honeycutt

RALEIGH - Patrick "Pat" Paul Honeycutt, 68, passed late in the night of Sunday, April 6th, 2025, after a years-long battle with lung cancer. He was born on March 26th, 1957, in Summit County, Ohio, to the late Jessie and Barbara Honeycutt.

In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Honeycutt; and brother-in-law, Wayne Wilson.

Pat is survived by his sisters, Sally Wilson and Jessica McKinley (Curtis); grandchildren, Brandi King Honeycutt and Jaden Honeycutt; great grandchildren, Tyson Honeycutt and Kashtyn Honeycutt; nephews, Derek Wilson and Kyle Wilson; nieces, Layla Comfort and Alyssa McKinley.

Pat spent most of his life working as a welder, establishing 16 years of professional metalwork and assisting in the construction of various skyscrapers in the Raleigh area. A lover of the outdoors, Pat could also be found enjoying a relaxing day on the green, golfing. Pat also enjoyed camping, fishing, and hiking, and enjoyed all of the natural beauty North Carolina had to offer. One of Pats greatest passions, however, was helping. He worked in the church kitchen and found great pleasure in preparing meals for the homeless.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11th, 2025, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home at 1200 Benson Road, Garner, North Carolina 27529 at 10:00AM, with a committal service to follow at Historic Oakwood Cemetery, 701 Oakwood Avenue, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601.
