Patsy Adams Matthews

Angier-Patsy Adams Matthews, 83, passed away on Friday. A native of Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Blanche Owen Adams. Patsy is survived by her daughter, Wanda Matthews Melanson and husband, Peter of Benson; sons, David Matthews and wife, Valerie of Fuquay-Varina, Eric Matthews and wife, Laura of Angier; sisters, Ann Walker of Angier, Glenda Zimmerman of Winston Salem; brothers, Roy Lee Adams, Jr. and wife, Maurine of Angier; grandchildren, Nicholaus Danner, Noeh Danner, Savanna Matthews, Roman Earl Matthews, Alexandra Matthews, Kaitlyn Matthews, Sophia Matthews, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her sons, Donnie Matthews, Stephen Matthews; sisters, Doris McLeod, Barbara Butts, Lulie Gray Adams; brother, Lloyd Adams.
