Pattie B. Lee

August 25, 1925 — January 23, 2016

Pattie Larue Barefoot Lee, 90, a tired farmer’s wife, died Saturday. A native of Johnston Co., she was the wife of the late Paul A. Lee, Sr. and the daughter of the late Lee and Kitsey Denning Barefoot. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday at New Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Angier Memorial Cemetery in Angier, NC. Surviving: her daughter, Dottie Lee Taylor of Garner; son, Alex Lee and wife, Mary of Garner; grandsons, Paul A. Lee III and wife Jamie, J. Sheridan Lee and wife Allison, all of Garner and Chad A. Taylor and wife, Katherine, of Beaufort; great-grandchildren, Bryan Lee, Ava Elizabeth Lee, James S. Lee II, Callie Grace Lee, all of Garner, Reagan Taylor and Graham Taylor, both of Beaufort; sisters, Repsie B. Warren and Lerome B. Darden, both of Dunn, Ruth B. Bailey of Wake Forest and Mary Q. Wheatley of Cochransville, PA; brothers, Malcolm Quigley of Gaston, SC, Waylon Quigley of Katy, TX, Larry Quigley of Trainer, PA and Sherrill Quigley of Aston, PA. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Emily Jo Wright and Frances McLamb and a brother, Houston Barefoot. The family will be at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday and at other times at the home of Mary and Alex Lee, 8345 Hebron Church Road, Garner.
