Pattie Lou Stephenson

October 4, 1940 — August 19, 2023

WILLOW SPRING – Pattie Lou Stephenson, 82, passed away on Saturday. Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late John Leonard Mullins and Cora Elizabeth Mullins.


A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 29th at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Inurnment will follow the service at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Willow Spring. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 1:45 pm at the funeral home.


She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly S. Durick of Dunn; sons, Brian Stephenson and Scott Stephenson, both of Willow Spring; sisters, Linda Page (Linwood Earl) of Rosewood, Frances Ballance of Fremont, Lynn Swearingen (Rob) of Rosewood; brothers, Bobby Mullins (Barbro) of Mansfield, TX, John Ed Mullins (Teresa) of Elm City, Gerald Mullins of Archers Lodge, Harold Mullins (Becky) of Berkeley Springs, WV; grandchildren, Christopher Kerby of Raleigh, and April Lockard (Jacque) of Virginia Beach, VA.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Henry Stephenson; and siblings, Paul Mullins, Donnie Mullins, Wesley Mullins, and Ann Mullins; daughter-in-law, Bobbie “Karen” Tedder Stephenson.
