On the afternoon of Saturday, March 30, surrounded by his family, Paul Edward Kreuz, 72, left this world after a lengthy battle with Inclusion Body Myositis. Paul had a larger-than-life personality; his sharp wit, infectious sense of humor and warmth won him friends everywhere he went. He was boisterous and strong-willed, but also tender and caring, especially when it came to his family, children, and animals. Paul was deeply generous and willing to give whatever he had to help others. He was a mentor to many due to his wealth of knowledge and wide range of skills. Paul retired as a mechanical engineer and patent holder with no formal education or degree. He prided himself on his work ethic and being self-taught, but his greatest pride was his family and he let everyone know—without provocation—how much he loved his wife and children.
Paul’s family asks that in lieu of flowers, they would appreciate a donation made in his name to The Myositis Association https://www.myositis.org/donate .
There will be a Celebration of Paul’s Life, please contact his family directly for details.
