Peggy Evans Thomas

December 27, 1930 -August 27, 2012 Raleigh- Peggy Evans Thomas, 81, of Raleigh, died Monday after several years of declining health. Peggy was born in Wake County to the late Burley R. Evans and Alma Nordan Evans. She was Registered Nurse all of her career and worked at Rex and several OB-GYN practices in Raleigh. She a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, Caroline Brown, Ben and Emily Dickens, and one great granddaughter, Lillie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Thomas in 1990. Private Burial Rites will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park.
