Peggy G. Jones

ANGIER - Peggy G. Jones, 98, of Angier died Saturday morning at her home. She was born in Chatham County to the late Henry Macon Goodwin and Essie Agnes Stone Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Lee Jones, daughter Judy Fountain and son David Jones. She is survived by her daughters Anne J. Suggs and Jean Matthews both of Angier; son, Paul L. Bo Jones and wife Roberta Ann of Angier; sister, Joesphine Fidler; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday at Neills Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00-8:00PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.Memorial contributions may be made to Neills Creek Baptist Church, 4200 Neills Creek Road, Angier, NC 27501.
