Peggy Jean Molden

Peggy Jean Pollard Molden, age 84, of Garner, NC died Sunday, October 27, 2024 in her home. She was born on December 17, 1939 in Johnston County to the late Roy Rufus Pollard and Genevieve Creech Hatcher.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy King Johnson and her husband, Mike of Florida; her sisters, Pat Keith of Georgia and Brenda Boyle of North Carolina; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Molden; her son, John B. King; her brothers, Phillip Pollard, Ronnie Pollard and Ted Pollard; her sisters, Judy Gay and Betty Carlyle.

Peggy devoted her life and love to all of her family, especially her children. She was very proud of both of them. The children of her extended family and her community held a special place in her heart. In her professional career, she worked for Goodmark Foods. Peggy was also a lover of animals, especially the dachshunds she had over the years and that is the reason the family asks that in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions may be made to Wake County SPCA , 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603 or a charity of your choice.

Her memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529.
