Peggy Lee Galbreath Vaughan, aged 74 of Willow Spring, North Carolina, left her earthly home for eternity in Heaven on August 2, 2022. She loved God, her family and friends, and enjoyed serving at Mount Zion United Methodist Church with passion and humility. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edna Taylor and Ira Galbreath, as well as a sister, Louise (Bob) Hawk, and brother Tommy (Nancy) Galbreath. Peggy is survived by her loving husband, James H. Vaughan, son, Wayne (Toni) Mixon, step-sons, Bobby (Marcy) Vaughan and Robert Rolland, and step-daughters, Nannette Baker and Jennifer (Ernest) Cross. Peggy was a beloved Nana to her grandchildren, Terry (Hillary), Andrew, Torie, Jacob, Chase, Anna, Clint, Katie, Caleb, Natashia, Christopher (Janae), and Josie. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren who loved her. Peggy also leaves behind many precious memories with surviving siblings, Marie (Billy) Whitley, Iris (Joseph) Van Noy, Laura Galbreath, Linda Chandler, and Stacey (John) Sheetz, as well as a host of nephews, nieces, and special friends.
