Peggy Louise Jackson

Mrs. Peggy Louise Jones Jackson, age 77, of Garner, NC died Sunday, June 11, 2023 in BellaRose Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born January 9, 1946 in Henderson County, NC to the late Lewis and Hattie Gilliam Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Allen Jones, Wayne Jones and Alvin Jones; her sister-in-law, Joan Jones and her nephew, David Jones.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Paul Jackson of Benson, NC; her daughter, Sharon Jackson of Benson, NC; her sister, Martha Metcalf and her husband, Butch of Hendersonville, NC; her sister-in-laws, Peggy Jones and Samyra Jones both of Hendersonville, NC and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Peggy was a loving wife and mother, who had a strong faith and a love for her family. She was a member of Capital Church in Garner, NC. She was always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. Peggy retired from the State of North Carolina as a Legal Secretary with over 30 years of service.

Her visitation will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 from 1:00 to 1:45 pm in the Capital Church, 1308 Hwy 70 W, Garner, NC 27529.

Her funeral service will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Capital Church with Dr. Ryan Jackson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to Capital Church Food Pantry, 1308 Hwy 70 W., Garner, NC 27529.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of BellaRose Nursing and Rehabilitation for the care and love shown to Mrs. Peggy over the past two years.
