Peggy Westbrook

GARNER– Peggy Westbrook, 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on, November 21, 2023. A native of Wake County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Lawrence Moon and Mattie Walker Moon.

Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. On February 1, 1980, she married the love of her life and best friend, Hubert Vance Westbrook, and together they raised two children whom Peggy loved very dearly. She began her career by following her passion for interior design and was a successful seamstress for over sixty years. She will be remembered fondly by her family and friends as a woman of great strength and conviction.

In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her brother, Melvin Moon.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Hubert Vance Westbrook; daughter, Brenda Mann Rogers (Donald) of Garner; son, Darryle Glenn Mann (Ali); brother, Danny Moon (Judy); grandchildren, Danielle Pascua (Harry), and Kayla Rogers; and great grandchild, Leilani Pascua.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at Mount Herman Christian Church Cemetery, 8925 White Oak Rd, Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends and family for a period of visitation at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, North Carolina 27529, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, November 24, 2023.
