Penina Susan Dail Bray

Raleigh - Mrs. Penina Susan Dail Bray died Wednesday, January 11, 2012. A loving and guiding dear Mother to her two sons. A loving friend to her daughters, Vicky, Judy, and Alice that adopted her many, many years ago, and she in turn loved and adopted them. Peninas life was her church, Bible, family, friends, and country. Penina will be laid to rest next to her son, Dale, and her husband, Alec who both preceded her in death. Peninas parents were Joseph Edgar Dail and Susan Minnie Dail of Walstonburg, NC. Peninas only sister, Mae, and brother, Frank, are both deceased. Penina is survived by one son, W. Randall Bray, Sr.; six grandchildren, William Bray II, Susanne Lewis, Malin Bray, Cort Bray, Cedric Bray, and Sascha White; three great grandchildren, Brooke Lewis, Brayden Lewis, and Xander Dale White; Darrell & Gladys Dail, Brenda Jean (Dail) Pittman, Janice & Wayne Dail, David Dail, Vicky McCloud & family, Cordell Avery & family; plus many other family members and friends. Graveside Funeral Rites will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2PM at Montlawn Memorial Park. Officiating will be Reverend Robert Inskeep, of First Presbyterian Church, Raleigh. It is requested by the family that those friends wishing to give gifts and/or flowers to honor or in memory of Penina Susan Dail Bray, to please instead give donations to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund located on 120 Hargett Street, Raleigh, NC 27601.
