Percy Len Ball, Sr.

Raleigh- Percy Len Ball, Sr., 79, passed away on Wednesday at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Harnett County, he was the son of the late Percy Willard Ball and Susie Lee Ball.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver St. Angier, NC 27501. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, February 2nd at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.

After serving 12 years with the Marine Corps, Percy made a lengthy career with UPS where he worked until retirement. He could usually be found tinkering around the farm working on antique tractors, mowing the pasture, or working around the house.

Percy is survived by his daughter, Ann Ball Matthews (Jason) of Fuquay-Varina; son, Percy "Len" Ball, Jr. of Raleigh; grandchildren, Darren Wilkins of Sanford, Tiffany Wilkins, Alyssa Ball, and Bryce Ball all of Fuquay-Varina; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and last but certainly not least, his loving dog, Pebbles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Judy D. Ball and ten siblings.
