Philip Graham Williamson

Philip Graham Williamson, 78, of Garner, passed away, January 20, 2024. Philip was born in Clinton, NC and lived in Garner. He proudly served in the United States Army, and after receiving an honorable discharge, he graduated Fayetteville Technical Institute, with an Associate in Applied Science, for Civil Engineering. Philip was a follower of Christ, and was baptized at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. He was a member of Aversboro Road Baptist Church. Philip devoted his work life to the NC Department of Transportation, working there for 37 years mapping and designing the roads of NC.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 2pm, at Aversboro Road Baptist Church, 1600 Aversboro Road, Garner, NC 27529, with the Dr. Jeffrey Sholar officiating.

Surviving, are his wife, Kayren; step-daughters, Sara Bonner (James), of Garner and Hannah Mitchell, of Boone; brothers, Henry, of Greenville, Tommy, Sr., of Cary, and Kim, of Marietta, GA; nephews, Tommy, Jr., Frank, Alex, Ray Barber, Robert; nieces Kimberly and Claire; and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded by a brother, John.
