Phillip Neal "Timmy" Bailey

RALEIGH – Phillip Neal “Timmy” Bailey, 61, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022. He was born in Wake County on August 16, 1960, the son of Roy Moril Bailey and Rachel Maness Bailey. Phillip was an avid NC State fan and also enjoyed playing cards. Fascinated by numbers, Phillip enjoyed playing with calculators, and they were always his favorite Christmas gift. Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Roy Moril Bailey; and a brother, Carlton Bailey. He is survived by his mother, Rachel Maness Bailey of the home; sisters, Kathy Freeman and husband, Ronald of Knightdale, Lisa Freeman of Clayton; brothers, Stephen Bailey of Clayton, Ken Bailey and wife, Sandra of Wendell; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family will hold a private graveside service at Historic Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, officiated by the Rev. Gary Williams. Flowers are welcome and may be sent to the funeral home.
