Wendell – Phyllis Barnes Creech, 88, passed away on December 26, 2022.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM at White Oak Baptist Church, Archer Lodge. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:45 PM - 2:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Lynn Creech and brothers, Phillip H. Barnes and George A. Barnes.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Joe; son, Joe, Jr. (Jenny); granddaughter, Sarah Creech; and grandson, Stephen Creech.
Phyllis was Joe’s anchor and rock throughout their life together and will be tremendously missed by all.
