Q. Michael "Mick" Helms

Michael Helms, 79, passed away on May 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.  A native of Cabarrus County, Michael was born January 21, 1945, to the late Howard Quenstin and Margie Whitaker Helms. Mick to his friends, loved to cruise, spend time at the beach and enjoy life with Melinda.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 2 PM, in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Benson Road Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends following the service.

Michael is survived by his wife of 59 years, Melinda Dyson Helms; sons, Chris Helms and wife, Nancy and Gregg Helms and wife, Kristy; grandchildren, Michael & Will Helms.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by Bob Helms.
