ANGIER -Robert Timothy Lane, 57, of 50 Calvin Dr. went to be with his Heavenly Father today, September 5, 2011. A native of Elizabeth City he is the son of the late ClarenceW. Lane and Virginia S. Lane . Funeral Services will be held on Thursday 11:00 AM at Friendship Baptist Church 640 Greenleaf Rd. Angier, NC. Burial to follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.He was a loving husband, father and friend. He leaves behind his loving wife, Rebecca Nordan Lane and daughters Amanda Grace Lane of the home, brothers, Clarence W. Lane and wife, Nancy, of Elizabeth City, Douglas E. Lane and wife, Gladys, of Shiloh, NC; sister, Linda Lane ONeal and Bud Conrad, of Virginia Beach, VA; three nephews, one niece, and great uncle to tenand special family friends, (Meme and Pappa) Paula and Durwood Jones.The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier and at other times at the home.
