Rachel Leggette Sellnow

Knightdale - Mrs. Rachel Leigh Sellnow, 29, of Knightdale, NC, went to join our Lord in Heaven on Thursday, July 7, 2016. After a ten-month battle with Leukemia, our God decided it was her time to come home. The Celebration of Life service will take place on Sunday, July 10 at 2pm at Aversboro Road Baptist Church in Garner NC, 1600 Aversboro Road. The burial will follow at Floyd Memorial Cemetery at 5pm in Fairmont, NC. The family of Rachel will receive visitors prior to the service, at 1pm at the church as well as other times at the home of Andy and Velvet Leggette. Rachel was a devoted wife and mother of three, and felt that to be her greatest gift in life. She was a dedicated volunteer to a local non-profit organization, Rottweiler Hearts Rescue, and considered it an honor to be able to assist in the rehabilitation of animals to find their forever homes. Rachel’s greatest joy in life was to bring immense happiness to everyone she encountered, an easy feat with her contagious laugh. She is survived by her husband, Frederick Sellnow; three beautiful children, Cole Peedin, Addison and Harper Sellnow; parents, Andy and Velvet Leggette, Leslie Leggette and special friend Bruce Rinne; a brother, Adam Leggette (Amanda); and two sisters, Jessi Pressly (Justin) and Rachel Hardin; grandmother, Ann Reaves; mother-in-law, Sandy Sellnow; nephew, Miles Leggette; and a host of cousins and other loved ones.
