Raeann Boone Martin

Raleigh - Raeann Boone Martin (Mimi), 76, died Jan. 19 of heart failure. She was a graduate of Towson University and taught Kindergarten and Preschool for over 50 years.She served and loved Jesus above all and leaves behind a legacy of love to her family and countless students.She was a member of Lillington Baptist Church and taught Sunday school and Preschool Choir. Her hobbies included cooking and baking and she loved butterflies and birds. She will always be remembered for her cheerful spirit and her perpetual singing.In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Lillington Baptist Church Music Program (lillingtonbaptist.com).She is survived by husband, Willis Martin; children Kathy Sutter and Greg Martin, grandchildren Rebekah Martin, Jonathan Martin, Matthew Sutter, Mason Sutter; sisters Eileen Seward and Nancy Todd.A Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 23, 7-9 PM, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road. Memorial Services will be Tuesday, Jan 24, at 10 AM at Lillington Baptist Church, 210 W.
