Ralph E. Girvin, Sr.

Ralph E. Girvin, Sr., 76 passed away after a long struggle with diabetes. Ralph proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for over 10 years earning numerous commendations during his service. He also worked as a welder for Rural Plumbing for many years. He was the son of the late Harry and Lucie Sullivan Girvin. Funeral Service will be held Monday at 12:00 Noon at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior the service and also after the service. Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake , NC with Military Honors.He was preceded in death by his parents; 2-sisters and a son-in-law. Ralph is survived by his wife of 27 years, Frances Wheeler Girvin; daughters, Tommie Holland, Patricia Griffis; sons, Ralph Girvin, Jr and wife Stacy, Samuel Wheeler and wife Bonnie, Glenn Wheeler and wife Sherry and Kenneth Wheeler and wife Ann; brother, Harry Girvin and wife Ellen; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
