Ralph Ray Swartz

Ralph R. Swartz, 90, of Garner, NC, formally of Brockton, MA, passed away on April 19, 2023 after a brief illness. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Ralph was a police officer in East Bridgewater, MA and a Sgt. in Carver, MA. He retired from Burns International and remained active and worked security at Memorial Auditorium in Raleigh, NC. There he met many celebrities, made lots of friends with his coworkers and Raleigh police officers.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Mary Helms Swartz. He is survived by: son Michael Swartz (Virginia); daughter Catherine Ivy Brooks; son Terry Swartz (Helen); son John Swartz (Brenda); 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special thanks to those who visited Ralph in his final days.
