Randall "Randy" Lee Rigsbee

Randall “Randy” Lee Rigsbee, 62, of Garner NC, passed away peacefully at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh on April, 22, 2023. Randy was born on November 27, 1960 in Prince George Maryland to Caroline McCauley Rigsbee and Johnie Preston Rigsbee. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Louise; aunt, Laura McCauley. He is survived by his brothers, Jerry Rigsbee and Dale Suggs; uncle, HT McCauley and his loving aunt, Betsy Andrews, plus many more aunts, uncles and cousins.

Randy is well known for his work at Kroger and Food Lion. He worked in the produce department at Food Lion for many years before moving over to Kroger. In Kroger, he worked in the grocery, meat, seafood and produce departments and was a cashier and bagger. He was well liked by the customers, and many became friends. Kroger is where he met his loving wife of 32 years, JoAnn Lane Rigsbee. Together they raised her children, plus helped several other young people to get started by opening up their home to them. Although Randy never had any children of his own, he will be missed by Laura (John) Troyano, Becky (Chris) Mayer, Christian (Cynthia/Sarah) DeLeur, Cathy Jo Hubbell Lada, Joshua Forrest Hubbell, Crystal (Chris) Quate Hockaday, along with 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was a great friend to all.
