Raymond A. Lapino

MORRISVILLE- Raymond A. Lapino, Jr., 58, passed away Thursday after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. A native of Louisiana, he graduated from LSU in the late 70s. He dearly loved his church, New Life Church of Cary, where he was a teacher of the 3-4 year old class. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Jackie Lapino, daughters, Angie Patrick and husband, Jeremy, Eleesha Lapino and Kyndal Grace Lapino of the home; father, Raymond Lapino, Sr.; step-sons, Keith Lange and wife, Sari, Cody Lange and Craig Lange and wife, Kristin; sisters, Barbara Balentine, Joanne Massony and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Makiya Lange Yates, Isabel Lange and Wyatt Lange. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Bruno Lapino. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home in Garner.
