Raymond Earl Johnson, Jr.

Clayton – Raymond Earl Johnson, Jr., 62, died Sunday night, July 12, 2015 in his home. Funeral service will be held Thursday July 16th at l:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel in Garner with burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. He was born in Burlington and lived in Clayton. He was the son of the late Raymond E. and Janie Bullock Johnson. Earl worked and retired from the City of Raleigh. He never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. Earl was a true follower of Christ and always put others needs above his own. He lived to the fullest, loving his family and friends dearly. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with those he loved. He will truly be missed by all who loved him. Surviving: wife, Jane Johnson of Clayton; son, Neil Johnson (Lisa) of Raleigh; brothers, Glenn Johnson (Donna) of Raleigh, Gerald Johnson of Garner, and Larry Johnson (Jeanette) of Garner. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Just Jesus Community Church of Garner.
