Raymond O. Dale

Garner - Raymond Odyth Dale, 91, passed away Wednesday surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late J. Hollie and Myrtie Pace Dale of Johnston County. He had three brothers and two sisters, all of whom preceded him in death. A veteran of WWII, he served in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman. Mr. Dale was an active member of Highland Baptist Church for over 50 years, having served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends from 10:00 -11:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be 2:00 pm Friday at Princeton Cemetery, 225 Donnie Jones Blvd., Princeton, NC 27569. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Doris Eason Dale; daughters, Nancy Baker and husband, Anderson and Jean Morgan and husband, Randy, all of Angier; sons, Doug Dale and wife, Diana of Austin, TX and Wayne Dale and wife, Terry of Clayton; grandchildren, Scott Morgan and wife, Mary, Ellen Dale, Joshua Dale and Davis Dale.
