Rebecca "Becky" Tyndall Denning

Rebecca “Becky” Howell Denning, age 79 of Clayton, NC passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family at UNC Medical Center, Chapel Hill, NC. She was born May 18, 1944 in Wake County, NC to the late James Buchanan and Margaret Jewell Richardson Howell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Norvell Denning and her daughter, Vicky Denning Jones.

She is survived by her sons, Allen Denning and his wife, Ann and Scott Denning and his wife Lesa; her grandchildren, Ashley Dunn (Wayne), Tad Denning (Claire Sharpe), Connor Denning and Ryan Denning; her great-grandchildren, Waylon Dunn and Mayley Dunn; her siblings, Peggy Lassiter, Bucky Howell and Leroy (Partha) Howell.

Her visitation will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 12:00 to 12:45 PM in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.

Her funeral service will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the staff of UNC Medical Center and BellaRose Nursing and Rehab for the loving care they gave to their mother.
