GARNER - Rebecca Carroll Bennett, 82, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011. AFuneral Service will be held on Monday at 11AM at Mt.ZionUnitedMethodistChurch. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Becky was daughter to the late James and Ellie Carroll. Before returning to Garner in 2002, she lived in St. PetersburgFL for 48 years while raising her family. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Lassiter, grandson, Rusty Lassiter and wife Maria and granddaughter, Dana Lassiter, great-grandchildren Brittany Blinson, Zack and Luke Lassiter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank, brothers, Jimmy and Sammy Carroll, sister, Lou McIver and step-daughter, Donna Bennett. The family will receive friends for visitation inside the church following the committal service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt.
