Rebecca Lane Sauls Ryals

Garner - Rebecca Lane Sauls Ryals rested in the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday morning. She was the fourth of eight children born to Clyde Britt Sauls and Herbert H. Sauls. Mrs. Ryals was preceded by her husband Carlton B. Ryals, their sons, Herbert Carlye Ryals, Earnest Alfred Ryals, Carlton Atlas Ryals, Sr. and two infants; siblings, Rosa, Roger, Alfred, Jack, Grace, and Mabel; great-grandchild, Jamie PhillipsShe is survived by her daughter Elaine R. Moore (Donald B.) of Clayton; her youngest sister, Ila Faye Rowland of High Point; daughter in law Jewel W. Ryals of Fuquay-Varina; sister-in-laws, Bonnie Archer and Eva Ryals of Max Meadows, VA, Callie Sauls of Garner and Jewel Sauls of Raleigh; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a large and loving extended family.Rebecca lived and served in the same community for most of her ninety-two years. She was a charter member of Turner Memorial Baptist Church. Her home was always a revolving door for her many relatives and friends to gather, eat, and talk. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at Turner Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
