Rex Langdon

Rex Langdon age 82 of Willow Springs, NC (currently residing in Murrells Inlet, SC) died Wednesday, November 6th, 2024 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital

Rex Langdon was born on August 2nd, 1942 in Raleigh, NC at Rex Hospital and was the son of the late William B. and Martha Johnson Langdon and is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Langdon in 2016.

Rex is also preceded in several family members that went before him.

Brothers: Bernice, Brodie, Steve & David Langdon

Sisters: Rose Marie Langdon, Julia Mae Myers and Juanita McLeod.

Rex was retired from Progress Energy (formerly known CP&L) in Raleigh, NC. Rex was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed nothing more than being at his church Full Gospel Tabernacle in Fuquay Varina, NC whenever the doors were open.

A time of visitation will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 from 1:00 to 1:45 pm in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home - Angier .

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Bryan Lee Funeral Home in Angier, NC with Rev. Tim Williford Sr & Kevin Barbour officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Garden.

Rex is survived by his son Dennis & Lynnette Langdon of Murrells Inlet, SC. Christopher & Connie Green of Jackson Springs, NC. Rex is also survived by his grandson Dylan Jerrett Green & Del Smith (Wife: Jennifer Smith) and great-grandchildren Camryn Sophia Smith & Charlotte ("Charley") Olivia Smith

Sister: JoAnn Hood of Bladenboro, NC.

Plus many more nieces and nephews he will miss dearly.
