Rex Marvin Dean

GARNER – Rex Marvin Dean, 96, passed away at home Saturday, August 11, 2018. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, August 18th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. He is survived by his wife Barilla Sue Dean; daughters, Jane Barnes (Ricky) of Benson, Gaye Stanley (J.L.) of Elkin and Cindy Calva (Pete) of Cary; son, Danny Rex Dean (Becky) of Stem; sisters, Genevieve Johnson of Dunn and Joann Phillips of Fuquay-Varina; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife, Louise Grissom Dean and ten siblings. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park, Ste. 10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
