Rhonda Carlene Johnson

Rhonda Carleen Johnson, 55, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024. A native of Harnett County, Rhonda was born July 14, 1969, to the late Carl and Goldie Wise. After their third date, Rhonda and JW knew they were soulmates, so the running joke is that they are still on their third date. Rhonda was a practical joker and enjoyed making people laugh. One year on April fool’s day, she hid her husband JW’s truck and told him that she had let it be repossessed. She and their son, Jeremiah laughed for hours, before calming JW down enough to explain what happened. Through all the struggles and victories, they have been blessed to share the love of a lifetime. Their love stretches from east to west, never ending.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 2PM, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner. The family will receive friends from 1-1:50PM, prior to the service.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, JW Johnson; sons, Bradd Trout and James Walter Johnson, Jr.; beautiful grandbabies, Adeline and Maison; brothers, Tommy Wise and wife, Kaye, and Tony Wise and wife, Nicole; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Rhonda was preceded in death by her daughter Tammy, that was born an angel, and son, Jeremiah.
