Richard A. Riggsbee

Angier- Richard Allan Riggsbee, 55, of Angier, NC went home to be with his Lord, February 20, 2022, after a lengthy illness. He loved music and loved to perform beginning when he was a teenager. Richard was a talented musician, playing several instruments with the guitar being his favorite. Not only did he love music, but he was also a great puppeteer. For several years he entertained our family at the Shipp Ripp. He was a Master of all trades. He loved helping other people from fixing what might be broken or just lend an ear to listen. Richard never passed up the opportunity to speak encouraging words to ones who might need it. He was a loving son and brother. Richard is survived by his mother, Onnie Partin of Angier, his father, Virgil Riggsbee and wife, Susan of Pittsboro, Sister, Camie Adams of Pennsylvania. Several aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Cam & Betty Partin of Angier and Wayland & Virginia Riggsbee of Green Level. There will be a Celebration of Life for family and friends at a later date.
